AND UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of Supervisors of Munson Township will meet at 8:00 p.m. on the 16th day of September at the Munson Town Hall to consider vacation of a portion of the drainage and utility easement located on property owned by Dennis Hjerpe as graphically depicted on attached Exhibit A.
The scheduled hearing is for the purpose of determining whether a portion of the above-described drainage and utility easement should be vacated. Such persons who desire to be heard with reference to this proposed vacation will be given the opportunity to be heard at this public hearing.

FELLOWS ROAD PROJECT REQUEST FOR QUOTES
Munson Township located in Stearns County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to pave Fellows Road from gravel to bituminous pursuant to Stearns County specifications as follows:
• 3 inches of bituminous (2 lifts, base course of 1½ inches and wear course of 1½ inches)
• The mix shall be as required in Stearns County specifications
• Reshape and blade the road but leave the shoulders
• 1 foot bump outs for approaches and driveways except for paved driveways (they will need to match up)
• The gravel portion of Fellows Road to be paved is approximately 22 foot wide
• Work to be completed by July 1, 2016
All proposals must be marked “Fellows Road Project Proposal” and must be received by the Town Clerk prior to 5:00 p.m., local time, on March 31, 2016. The Town Hall is located at 3857 County Road 23, Richmond, Minnesota 56368. The mailing address for the Township is Munson Township, P.O. Box 505, Richmond, Minnesota 56368. Quotes may also be sent via email to munson@netlinkcom.com.
This Request for Quotes creates no obligation on the part of Munson Township to award the contract or to reimburse proponents for proposal preparation expenses. Munson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotes, in whole or in part, received as a result of this request, and to negotiate in any manner necessary to best serve the interest of the Fellows Road Project.
At the election of the Township, whether or not a quote or entity submitting the quote otherwise satisfies the requirements of this Request for Quotes, the Township’s evaluation of said quote may include information provided by the proponent’s references and may also consider the proponent’s past performance on previous contracts with the Township or other institutions.
